  1. The topic of your article is very interesting. I think is important to know how to translate from our native language into the L2 .It will be so helpful to learn since we will understand easier and faster the other language. About your categorization of your article. I believe that both of you did a great job. Your analysis has clear examples and it's easy to understand it.

  2. I believe this is a very good method to learn a L2 and also one of the most frequently used. I don't know about my peers strategies when the first started to learn ESL, but I used to learn English with translation I wanted to translate movies, signs, songs, and so on. This method will help you also to compare both languages and to contrast their differences.I totally agree about the type of knowledge and research that you selected.

  4. Thank you for your comments Karla and Delmy. I just want to mention that we had some problems when we tried to identify the kind of research we were facing, because as you noticed and we mentioned our research was mixed so we were wondering if this research could have 2 "kind of research" (practical, based or applied), but after asked to the teacher, she answered us that it does not matter that our research were mixed, this kind of research needs to be practical, based or applied, it could not have two.

  5. Astrid and Karina, you did a well-explained and articulated analysis of this article. As it is stated, you analysis seems to be correct. I only need to clarify that this article is not an experimental research. Based on the type of knowledge, Why is it empirical?
